The project's Q1 Objectives and Key results (measurable goals)
Objective: Implement an adaptive synergy approach to improve operations, achieve our mission and thrive in the geothermal market. Key Results:
Establish an Agile framework within the organization, with at least 80% of teams trained and utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies by the end of Q1.
Identify and coach at least 5 Agile evangelists across the organization who can act as informal mentors and peers.
Hold at least 2 workshops on first principles thinking and its application in geothermal by the end of Q1.
Increase inter-team collaboration by implementing at least 2 cross-functional projects by the end of Q1.
Achieve at least 20% improvement in efficiency and reduction of waste as measured by key performance indicators by the end of Q1.
Increase community satisfaction related to geothermal development and collaboration by at least 15% as measured by community engagement surveys by the end of Q1.
A Postcard from the Future:
As the President of Calistoga Area Hot Springs (CAH), I am thrilled to report that the implementation of an adaptive synergy approach has been a resounding success. Our geothermal project has not only improved operations and increased efficiency, but it has also fostered a deeper level of community engagement and education. One of the key successes has been the implementation of Agile methodologies, which have allowed us to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and make real-time adjustments to the project. We have also been able to identify and coach Agile evangelists within the team and community who have acted as informal mentors and peers, helping to spread the Agile mindset throughout the community. We have also held workshops on first principles thinking, which have helped us to better understand and address the root causes of challenges we have faced in the project. This, in turn, has led to breakthroughs in both technology and community engagement. Our community outreach and education programs have been incredibly successful in increasing awareness and support for the project. We have seen a significant increase in the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of the project, which currently stands at 80. Additionally, we have received positive feedback from community members through surveys and focus groups. Furthermore, our technology proof of concepts have been successful and we have established partnerships with other geothermal companies, which will help us to further improve the project and share best practices. Overall, we are proud of what we have achieved and are excited for the future of geothermal energy in Calistoga.
